Insurance Coverage

General Liability

Covers property damage and bodily injury arising from our work at your home — a dropped window unit, a damaged exterior wall, a broken fixture. If something is damaged during installation, it is handled through our insurance rather than your claim history.

Workers' Compensation

Covers our crews if a worker is injured on your property. Florida law requires this coverage at the contractor level, and we maintain it.

Why Licensing & Insurance Matter to You

  • Permits and inspections go through. A licensed contractor can pull permits and pass inspection. Unlicensed work can be red-tagged, forcing removal of the installation at your expense.
  • Your warranty stays intact. Manufacturers and insurers may refuse to honor coverage on work performed or installed by an unlicensed party.
  • Protection if something goes wrong. Contractors without coverage leave the loss with you. Insurance shifts that risk back where it belongs.
  • Recourse through the state. Florida's construction recovery fund and DBPR complaint process are available to you only when the contractor is properly licensed.
  • Wind mitigation credit eligibility. Your carrier will want documentation that openings meet the Florida Building Code. Licensed, permitted installation produces that paper trail.
  • Resale value. Unpermitted window and door work surfaces during a home inspection and often becomes a price concession at closing.
